1997-present: Freelance Designer
Freelance work through my studio, McCoy Design. Web page design, development, and graphics; print design; illustration, cartooning, and caricature; and corporate identity. Working in a variety of media, traditional and electronic. Winner, "Best Comic" 1992 Boston Comic News (now Editorial Humor) contest.

Clients include:
Lotus: Illustrated and co-created the cartoon white paper "eSuite Conquers Bloatzilla."
boston.sidewalk.com: editorial illustrations, caricatures, icons, and animated .gifs to accompany online articles.
Microsoft (Northeast): caricatures, logos, and cartoons for use in and to promote "Bob and Larry" coding seminars.
superbowl.lycos.com: contracted with Lycos as Developer for the official Superbowl XXXII/Lycos website; collaborated with designers, coded HTML.
Circle Interactive: as a subcontractor, coded HTML and produced graphics for pages on several corporate web sites, including Ocean Spray, Bell Atlantic, and Webster Bank.
Beau Jest Moving Theater: illustrated and designed posters, direct mailing, tee shirts, newspaper ads.

2002-present: Collections, Information, and Administrative Specialist, McMullen Museum of Art, Boston Collece
Responsible for registration and cataloging of artwork in the museum's permanent collection. Part of the core team for planning, designing, and installing exhibitions. Designer and maintainer of museum's Website and well as museum databases of collections, donors, and contacts. Producer and engineer for audio tours.
1999-present: Designer, Common-place
1999-2000: Managing Editor, Common-place
Designer and editor for Common-place, an online journal of early American life. Responsible for look and feel of site, illustration, graphics, HTML, CGI, as well as formatting and editing of articles. Along with a developer installed and modified BBS, mailing list, and search function.
2000-2002: Senior Designer, Public Interactive
1999-2000: Designer, Public Interactive
Lead designer for the Car Talk Web site, which I completely redesigned in 2001. Designed web pages, collateral, identity, PowerPoint presentations, and more for Public Interactive, producers of Web pages and Web content modules for public broadcasting programs and stations. Produced graphics, illustrations, HTML, animations, and more for popular sites including Earth & Sky, Whad'ya Know, Public NewsRoom, and Public Conversation. Redesigned corporate logo, letterhead, and press kits.
